This practice pad is excellent for a low volume/rebound option. The one thing i still am not a fan of is the MDF wood base. The prices keep going up yet we have this wood that has questionable durability and changes the tone of the pad itself. I’m hoping to see a change back to birch. The surface however is fantastic, you really can’t go wrong with it. Excellent for endurance. Thanks!

This 4” Practice Pad is two sided and made of high quality material. And is small enough making it easy to carry.

I collect pads. I have 5 Prologix. Out of the 5 surfaces, this one is most appropriate for my genre which is Pipeband. Most Pipeband pads that come close to a high tension feel are not family friendly (ahem). But this one is. So I use this one at night and it’s not got me in trouble yet. The loudest part is the ring of my maple sticks. I’d recommend for anyone wanting a quieter pad that still responds well. It will make you work some, but that’s good. The name of the model is fitting.

Just wanted to let you know that the Alln1 pad arrived today, and all I can say is, WOW…what a great pad! The look, the feel, the craftsmanship…all amazing! I’m so glad I purchased this particular pad, because it will give me the versatility I want in a practice pad, and I know I will get years and years of use out of it (probably a lifetime). I have mine threaded to an Ahead stand—it has all the pad surface you need to focus your sticks in the right place, and it has that hyper-realistic Midnight Vortex surface, too!

This little practice pad is excellent for what it is….a good quality, very portable, mini practice pad. It’s barely larger than a drink coaster, but it has 2 great surfaces and certainly will encourage you the play in the middle of the head. If you need something to easily carry in a backpack, this is it. It’s small and lightweight but doesn’t skimp on quality.

I bought the little Prologix 6-inch "Mini" pad. As small as it is, it has enough weight to stay put when I am playing on it. I carry this pad in my computer case, (along with drumsticks) when I am going to work or on vacation, etc. The response is quite bouncy, as I like it, about like a tight mylar head might be. It is as quiet as I need it to be. I can play it in a hotel room without disturbing others. I actually have two!

I purchased both the Prologix 8" Blackout/Green and 8" Blue Lightning/Red storm combo pads a couple months ago. Both are absolutely great pads and have become a staple in my percussion studio! My students absolutely love them. These are some of the best pads that I've ever played on, and I've had MANY over the past 50+ years! Keep up the great work Prologix!
