Green Logix practice pads feature our custom-blend, .217”/5.5mm gauge, natural rubber playing surface specially designed for dexterity training and healthy muscle development of your upper limbs, wrists and hands. This pad surface simulates the true feel of a traditional snare drum providing optimum rebound essential for improving various techniques, developing stick control and precision. The Green Logix Series is ideal for advancing ergonomics of motion to increase flexibility and strengthen muscle memory vocabulary for performance on the field or on the drum kit.

  • Choice of (3) Sizes: - 6", 8”, or 12” playing surfaces.
  • Top Surface: .217"/5.5mm green premium-grade natural rubber.
  • Bottom Surface: .197"/5mm recycled rubber that can be used as an additional playing surface.
  • Rim: Non-marking Poly-Tech rim for precision rim shot execution and cross-stick simulation.   Available on 8" and 12" models.
  • Base: Sustainable CNC milled HD/MDF panel engineered for exceptional strength made from 100% recycled and recovered wood content. 
  • Placement: Place on your lap, on a drum, in a snare stand, or on any flat surface.  6" model includes threaded brass insert to mount to any 8mm stand.

Fantastic!

This one of the finer pads I have played in over 25 years of percussion playing. The playing surface is top notch, the wood base is smooth, sturdy, and aesthetically pleasing with a premium feel. I am not one who really thinks a rim is necessary for effective practice. In fact, I think rims are frivelous on a pad and do little more than help students shred their sticks, costing more money and discouraging practice. But Prologix has NAILED the concept. The rim on this pad is absolutely perfect. It feels sturdy, you can play the hardest rim shots you've got, and both the stick and rim are perfect even 3 years later. PAd company "X" or RCP have rims that can break in the first afternoon of playing. This rim stands up to the beating while still protecting the sticks.
Overall-
Playing surface- 10/10
Look and feel- 10/10
Weight and portability- 9/10 (This fits perfectly on a 14 inch snare, but struggles to fit in a backpack comfortably)
Overall value- 9/10 (I believe you get what you pay for, but in my opinion, pad prices are out of control. This pad is excellent, but the price tag is heavy and will discourage students with fewer resources like many of my past students).

Love the pad but 12” fits like a 14”

Love the pad but I got the 12” , it’s a lot bigger than you’d think. I recommend getting the 8” one if you want to take it out of the house. I wish I got the smaller one. I also highly recommend the Dave Weckl pad for air travel trips. Below is a pic of it on my 14” snare drum. Looks like a 14” pad to me!
