Blue Lightning VST practice pads feature a medium soft, .374”/9.5mm gauge, low-volume playing surface specially designed for advanced strength training and healthy muscle development of your upper limbs, wrists and hands. The pad surface has a medium rebound level with a heavy resistance that is excellent for improving hand coordination, building endurance, and enhancing speed. The Blue Lightning VST Heavy Series is ideal for exercising your full range of motion to increase flexibility and develop fluid mobility around the drum kit during performance.
- Choice of (3) Sizes: - 6", 8”, or 12” playing surfaces.
- Top Surface: .374”/9.5mm expanded natural rubber faced with blue fabric for durability.
- Bottom Surface: .200"/5mm recycled rubber that can be used as an additional playing surface.

Great Pad, wonderful for conditioning + more silent as well! The only slight let down is with the new redesign, don’t love the updates. Composite wood as opposed to real wood used before.
While I love your product I loved the product as it was previously and not with the latest design changes. Don’t love the big black circular casing. Nor the fact that the wood that it used to be made from is now what seems to be composite. Otherwise great product.
This is a really nice product!
Great for building wrist strength and extremely quiet. The playing surface has a unique response and feel to it, demanding yet very comfortable to play on.
Shipment was real quick too!
