What John Toomey says about ProLogix®:
“It’s not just the smaller, manageable size, the cool sleek design, or the ability to warm up at a whisper anywhere; it’s all of these ingredients combined with the option to alter any one of them that make my Prologix Blue Lightning practice pad the best I’ve ever worked with!“

More About John Toomey:
Bio: John Toomey has been studying and performing drumset for over fifteen years. Originally from Mobile, Alabama, John studied with John Papastefan, director of percussion at the University of South Alabama. John’s hunger to perform with a variety of bands in multiple genres, prepared him for the next stage in his career. When the opportunity arrived, John moved to New Orleans, Louisiana in July of 2002 to study jazz and classical styles at Loyola University New Orleans. While in school, he found himself performing around New Orleans with many of his peers. However, after hurricane Katrina, John decided to move to Nashville, Tennessee. Since then, he has finished up his degree in Commercial Music Performance and Music Business at Belmont University. Whether it’s touring, studio recording, or educating and inspiring with his drum clinics, John’s career is constantly pushing forward.

Gigs: Currently, John is performing with and tour managing Warner Brother’s recording artist, Jason Jones. He has toured with American Idol Alum, Josh Gracin as well as Curb recording artist, “Bomshel” between 2006 and 2007. Bomshel took John around the United States as well as Japan, South Korea, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. John is also performing and recording with four time smooth jazz grammy nominee , Denny Jiosa. You can catch him with The Dillon Dixon Band, and the up-and-coming Nashville rock band, Mannah. John is always looking for new artists to share his talents with.

Educational Resources: John just finished his first Drum Instructional video, Footwork: Developing 6-Way Independence. It is available now! In addition, John has written and published drumset performance columns for the Melbay webzine, “Percussion Sessions” (www.percussionsessions.com). He has also held drumset clinics for middle and high school students across the southeast. John plans to expand his clinic schedule in 2011.
